New landmark sculpture adds to Dallas Skyline
Keep your eye out for the newest landmark in Dallas. No, not the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science or Klyde Warren Park. We are talking about the Bowler Hat in the Cedars neighborhood. Really, it will be hard to miss. This black hat is 20 feet wide, 10 feet tall and weighs more than 2 tons. For the Love of the Lake’s (FTLOTL) Jan. 12, Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Up will start early in the morning cleaning up throughout White Rock Lake Park, then be followed by the planting of 150-200 trees in the Stone Tables area (east side of the lake near Buckner & Lake Highlands Drive). Sessions to speak at Chamber lunch

Congressman Pete Sessions will be the featured speaker for the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the Lakewood Country Club. On Dec. 10, Sandra Johnson announced to the Dress for Success Dallas board that they had just suited their 500th client for the year.
