Okamoto wins third geo bee
Miles Okamoto, an eighth grader at St. John’s Episcopal School, won the school-level competition of the 2013 National Geographic Bee, his third consecutive win. Miles edged out Parker Allen (eighth grade) in the championship tie-breaker round. Other finalists were Clay Walters (eighth grade), William Turner (sixth grade), Carter Elliott (seventh grade) and Elise Welch (sixth grade).
