United Methodist hosts hunt
This past Saturday, March 30, members of White Rock United Methodist Church held a community Easter Egg Hunt at Casa Linda Park. Area families were treated to an Egg Hunt with 2,500 candy eggs, face painting, crafts and a petting zoo of animals ranging from alpacas to ponies to pot-bellied pigs. More than 150 neighbors enjoyed the festivities.

Bicyclist to ride 24-hour relay to raise money for children with cancer
On April 12, the members of the General’s Guard, a volunteer cycling team that raises money for cancer survivors, will begin a 24-hour cycling relay at White Rock Lake to raise funds from sponsors and individuals for Heroes for Children, a local cancer support organization in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
