Shakespeare Dallas receives TACA support
Shakespeare Dallas has been awarded a $35,000-grant by The Arts Community Alliance (TACA), Dallas' premier umbrella arts organization. After setting fundraising records in 2012, TACA was able to allocate $1.3 million in grants to diverse and deserving North Texas performing arts organizations in 2013. Nearly all of the money was distributed on Jan. 28 at the TACA Grant Awards Presentation at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in Dallas.
Scholarship deadline set for March 22
The Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of 16 college scholarships for 2013.
The application is available through counselors at the school and online at the Foundation website, woodrowfoundation.org/scholarships.
