City Council race sends District 14 into runoff
After Saturday’s election, Hispanic representation on the Dallas City Council could take a step back at a time when the Latino population is growing. Reinhardt Elementary is proud to announce their 2012-2013 teacher and teacher assistant of the year. Mrs. Maria Garza was named Teacher of the year. A 21-year employee of both Reinhardt Elementary and Dallas ISD, Garza has taught grades K-5th. She is currently a first grade teacher. Dallas Lutheran's Hasse places in State
Freshman Noah Hasse represented Dallas Lutheran School at the 2013 TAPPS 3A State Golf Tournament at Clear Creek in Fort Hood on April 29 – 30. Hasse played well, scoring 78 and 81 for a total of 159, which tied him for fifth place out of 65 golfers. Hasse is grateful for the support from teachers, coaches, teammates and family and looks forward to returning in 2014. Way to go, Noah!
