![]() As part of YOUth Week at Ridgewood Park UMC, the youth group and several adults from the church volunteered a shift at the North Texas Food Bank on Monday, Aug, 20. While there, the youth and adults worked with other volunteers sorting out food stuffs and “shopped” to fill boxes that were later sealed and stacked for distribution to local food pantries.
One of the youth commented that while it was hot in the warehouse with no air conditioning, she knew that she was helping someone and it made her feel good to know she was helping. For more information on how you can help the North Texas food bank, please go to ntfb.org.
