Women’s Forum to present ‘magical setting’

The stately 1904 C. H. Alexander Mansion, one of the city’s oldest residences, will be bedecked in holiday finery for the annual “Holiday Home Tour, Boutique & Holiday Cafe” Dec. 8-11 and “European Tea Room” Dec. 13-22 will be presented by The Dallas Woman’s Forum.

The Holiday Home Tour, Boutique & Holiday Cafe will be held 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Thurs. through Sun., Dec. 8-11. The Boutique features a diverse selection of arts and hand crafted gift items. Admission to the Tour and Boutique is $10 for adults, $5 for children. The Holiday Café will offer a different menu each day consisting of soup, salad or sandwich, dessert and a beverage for $10. Reservations are required by calling 214-823-4533.

The European Tea Room will be held 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Tues., Dec. 13, through Thurs., Dec. 22. Admission is $45 for adults (tea, champagne, tax and gratuity included); $15 for children under 12. Tours of the Mansion are $5, 10 – 11 a.m.

Proceeds will benefit the preservation of the C.H. Alexander Mansion and the charities of The Dallas Woman’s Forum.
