“Holidays and Holy Days” was the theme for the Dallas Lutheran School’s annual Christmas concert, which was presented on Mon., Dec. 5. The high school choir sang a variety of carols including “Adeste Fideles” and “Gloria in Excelsis.” The middle school contributed performances of “Whisper! Whisper!” and “The Peace Carol.” Rounding out the concert were solos and duets performed by a variety of DLS choristers. “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “O Holy Night,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” were just a few of these offerings.

The night was topped off with an all-choir performance of “Carol of the Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” Dallas Lutheran School Director of Music Connie Gatlin commented: “It was a wonderful night of singing and praising God through music. I enjoy watching the students grow throughout the semester and them taking pride and ownership in a wonderful Christmas performance. It is a testimony to their talent and diligence to rehearsal.”
