The Visiting Nurse Association needs Eldercare Friends volunteers to visit the homebound elderly in Dallas County and provide assistance with shopping, escorted transportation, errands, or other activities. Eldercare Friends volunteer training will be held Jan. 18 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Visiting Nurse Association’s headquarters on 1440 W. Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.
