Ralph, a widower, decides to take a different path on his daily walk and meets the elegant Carol.
It is a meeting that changes both of their lives and brings a second chance at love well past the time in their lives when they expect romance.
Ralph attempts to woo the elegant, but distant Carol. He defies Carol’s reticence and his sister Rose’s jealousy. Ralph embarks on the trip of a lifetime and regains a happiness that seemed all but lost.
The One Thirty production of “The Last Romance” is directed by company co-founder Larry Randolph and stars Dallas favorite, John Daviess, as Ralph. Gene Raye Price, a One Thirty regular, plays Carol. Mary Lang, who last appeared in the One Thirty 2008 "FIT" production joins the cast as Rose, and Will Whitmire makes his first appearance with One Thirty Productions as the Young Man.
One Thirty Productions is thrilled to partner with The East Lake Pet Orphanage for this production.
Irene, an adorable one and half year old Chihuahua mix, hopes to find a new family by charming the audience with her appearance in “The Last Romance.” Pictures of adoptable pets will be on display in the lobby and a collection will be made to help support the wonderful efforts of the Pet Orphanage at each performance.
