Breaking records left and right, “The Hunger Games” packed theaters across Dallas all weekend. Teens and twenty-somethings formed the majority of the crowds that flocked, some in costume, to theaters like the AMC North Park, which showed the movie in multiple theaters, including an IMAX version. Pictured here, St. Thomas Aquinas student Katelynd Kennedy, 14, dressed as “Effie,” took in one of the first showings. “It was amazing, but you have to read the book to really understand it,” she said.
