Dallas Lutheran senior Sarah Rice (left) and freshman Olivia Rutherford (right) competed in the TAPPS State Art meet on March 23 and 24, which was held in Austin at Concordia University. Sarah earned third place for her Senior Portfolio and sixth in Drawing – Color (pictured in photo). Olivia earned second place in Seek and Sketch – Color (pictured in photo) and sixth place in On-Site Design.
Dallas Lutheran Senior Kim Henrickson (center) competed in the TPSMEA State Vocal Competition in Houston March 22 and earned an Excellent Rating for her solo “Bist Du Bei Mir,” a German selection by composer J. S. Bach. Kim has the lead role in Dallas Lutheran’s upcoming spring musical, “Once Upon a Mattress,” which will be performed April 27 and 28.
