Dallas Lutheran School won the championship of the Middle School Scholar Bowl competition, which was Saturday, April 14, at Faith Lutheran School in Plano. The champions consisted of Zach Bronkhorst, Kelly Carlson, Erick Huang, Amy Marshall and William Watts. A second team from Dallas Lutheran consisting of Katie Bone, Lexie Haerle, Brandon Jenkins, Bailey Payne and JC Weed finished fourth. In the individual competition, based on points scored, Erick Huang and Amy Marshall tied for fourth place and Katie Bone was awarded a fifth place ribbon.
