Cruz, a 6̓2”, 280-pound defensive and offensive lineman, earned Honorable Mention All District for both defensive and offensive line in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools, participated in the DFW Tom Hillary All Star Football Classic, and was the Varsity Captain. Cruz plans to study criminal justice.
