Geneva Howe, Northeast Area vice president, Texas Federation of Chapters, presents Red Bud Chapter President Edwin Carpenter with a 40th Anniversary recognition certificate for Chapter 1222 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) association at the Highland Park Cafeteria, Casa Linda Shopping Center. Witnessing are Frances Grimes, Editor Emeritus of The Texas Federation Register (whose father aided in the start of this chapter in January 1972); Dewey LaRochelle from Richardson's EPPARD Chapter 1273; Fred Wells, District 4 Representative; and Charlene Ramsey, chapter secretary. The Red Bud Chapter meets regularly the first Monday of the month at Highland Park Cafeteria, Casa Linda Shopping Center in Dallas.
