The Grand Opening of our long-awaited White Rock Hills Branch Library is just around the corner.

Please join us this Saturday, June 16 at 10 a.m. for the official ribbon cutting and dedication of our library at 9150 Ferguson Rd.

We also invite you to bring your entire family at 9:30 a.m. and join us as we line up at 9220 Ferguson Rd. (in front of White Rock Church of Christ) to parade to our new library.

The parade will be led by ceremonial African Drummers and Dancers and there will be family fun activities all day long: storytellers, authors' talks, face painting, chalk murals, art demonstrations and tours of our beautiful library! You can even check out a book!

Children are encouraged to dress up as their favorite fairytale or storybook character (adults can too!)

Show your community pride by carrying a sign or banner representing your neighborhood, church, lodge, apartment community, Boy or Girl Scout troop, school, or other organization. If you live in Far East Dallas, you're invited!

Parking will be available at adjacent church parking lots. Please, no motorized vehicles! Pedestrians or bicycles, only. The fun will last until 4 p.m.
