Quarterly Police and Fire Department Awards were presented by Tracy Cox last Friday. Senior Corporal Carlos Guzman received the Police award. He was nominated by Sgt Mike Flusche of the Northeast Substation. Unfortunately, Cpl Guzman had a family emergency and could not attend.
The Fire Dept award was given to Driver/Engineer/Paramedic Christian Hinojosa (below right) Of Station No. 28 on Greenville Avenue. He was nominated by Battalion Chief G. C. Williford. Jon Mureen also installed six new members: Mike Mahurin, Roger Moon, Cheryl Barnes, Kregg Jodi, Tony Doles and Carlin Volkmer.
Founded in 1961, the club has approximately 180 members and is one of the most active service clubs in the Dallas area.
