The Heroes 12U baseball team wrapped up spring baseball last week by winning the 11/12-year-old league championship in the Farmers Branch Baseball Association. The Heroes are primarily comprised of 6th graders from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School but also have players from St. Pius, St. Patrick and J. L. Long.
Including tournament baseball, the Heroes had a seasonal record of 15 wins and 15 losses. Many of the Heroes have played baseball together as a team since they were 5 years old. The Heroes are coached by Pete Carton, Jeff Prendergast, Steve Ramos and Ted Zapletal.
