A group of Woodrow Wilson High School International Baccalaureate students recently returned from a trip to China.

They hiked the Great Wall in Badaling, visited the Summer Palace where they had a Taiji lesson, met and interacted with Chinese students at the Beijing Wenhui Middle School and had dinner with a Hutong family in their home. Several IB students were able to earn Creativity Action Service (CAS) hours for their diploma by participating in some of these activities as a part of larger ongoing CAS projects. Sponsor was Robert Broyles, IB Psychology/US History teacher at Woodrow.

Another group of Pre-IB hopefuls from Woodrow visited Costa Rica over spring break. Later this summer a Woodrow group will travel to Spain for the IBO international conference and other activities. A trip to London and Paris is planned for next spring. For more information about and applications to the only IB Diploma and IBCC Programme in Dallas, go to woodrowwildcats.org.
